I had the good fortune to be referred to Mr Hextall some years ago for my stress incontinence. He showed kindness understanding and expertise, after undergoing day surgery to have this problem rectified I have never looked back. Recently I was referred to him again for effects suffered from menopause one of which is urge incontinence and reoccurring urine infections. Once again he was kind and understanding, he made the speaking of such intimate problems quite easy and shameless, I felt at ease and in safe hands. After undergoing a cystoscopy to rule out any underlying problems, my urge incontinence is successfully being treated with a hormone cream and hopefully I will see less urine infections. I felt confident in his diagnosis and the course of treatment he recommended.

After a failed operation to repair my prolapsed womb 7 years ago, I was extremely cautious which consultant to use to finally rectify my problem. A friend recommended Mr Hextall and I was so pleased she did. At my initial consultation he was informative, friendly and reassuring, detailing all my options and drawing me a diagram to help with my decision making. I decided to have a hysterectomy, which he performed a few months later and I only wish I had done this 7 years ago! I had no discomfort after the op or the weeks that followed and I was mobile very quickly. Mr Hextall's "bedside manner" put me at ease on the day of my operation and his calm and easy going presence was very much appreciated. The operation was a success and I would highly recommend Mr Hextall.

I have received amazing care from Mr Hextall. He is a great Consultant, he listened to my problems and provided an appropriate care plan, which involved surgery, that he performed to an excellent standard. He is highly competent and capable. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

I was experiencing leakage problems for years and eventually consulted my GP, who suspected it was stress incontinence. She highly recommended Mr Hextall and had me referred. I got an appointment within 2 weeks and I was delighted with his pleasant approachable manner. I was immediately at ease and felt confident in his ability. I was booked in for a TVT procedure in two weeks as a day patient, and the entire experience was a complete success from start to finish. The hospital staff were fantastic and I was discharged on the same day with painkillers. Mr Hextall had not come round and do his final visit before I had gone home, so he telephoned me at home the next day to check all was well, which I thought was very good of him. I returned for my six week check up and all healed well and a complete success. I would highly recommend Mr Hextall and am ever so grateful to him. My quality of life has improved no end.

I am delighted with my bladder operation performed by Mr Hextall. Not only has it solved my stress incontienance problem, but I found Mr Hextall very friendly and approchable, which put my mind at rest and helped me cope with the whole experience.
